Headline 1: Apple must pay for slowing down old i-phones

Apple will pay about $500 million to iPhone 6, 6S, 7, and SE users who faced battery-related problems due to intentional device slowdowns. The settlement comes from a lawsuit where Apple defended the slowdowns as a safety measure to prevent sudden shutdowns. Despite this, affected customers will receive compensation.

Headline 2: About half of Americans want to ban Tik Tok

According to Reuters:

"Some 47% of respondents to the two-day poll...said they at least somewhat supported "banning the social media application, TikTok, from use in the United States," while 36% opposed a ban and 17% said they didn't know." Montana has already banned the app, although the ban will be easy to get around.
